CORPORATE CUP – DUTY TEAM INSTRUCTIONS
Duty is divided between two teams: the first duty team cover the period of event set-up from 11:45am, and the second duty team cover the event take-down period from 1:30pm. Both duties take only 5-10 minutes, dependant on 2-4 team members being present.
First Duty Team
The Series Coordinator (Vic Anderson from State Audit) will meet the team’s first shift at the start at 11:45am sharp.
Event Set Up
- Take out the small plywood board from behind the cupboards and loop between two upright metal supports above the wall on outside of men’s change room and then clip onto the other side of the board.
- The Coordinator will supply two “early runner sheets”, one “incident sheet” and one “Faulty Chip” sheet. Attach these to the board using the blue-tac on the board (NOT sticky tape).
- Get the two large trestle tables from behind the cupboard. Assemble in front of the doors – for water and plastic cups (need around 400 to 500 per run).
- Place hand sanitizer and the replacement chip box on one of the tables.
- Get one card table and place next to the board for bag of spare pens and faulty chip box. Bring out another card table and the large metal double – sided notice regarding the Corporate Cup Rules and place near the start line.
- Get two water containers and fill from tap in the men’s toilet. Suggest not completely fill as they get very heavy! Bring out the two plastic garbage bins from next to the cupboard and place near tables.
Note: committee members will have the responsibility for laying out the mats and connecting the timing device.
Second Duty Team
The Series Coordinator will meet the second duty team at 1.30pm, when the take down process begins.
Event Take Down
The Handicapper will remove the sheets from the notice board, along with any faulty chips which have been left.
- Progressively put away the large CC Sign and card table from near the start line, and the two large tables, water containers, and any unused cups from in front of the doors.
- By no later than 1:40pm, take down the board and return it and the accompanying card table to the cupboards in the men’s change room.
- Check area – put away in cupboard anything left out; pick up cups/rubbish; empty CC bins into nearest large public bin (near the start line) and return them to next to the CC cupboard.
Note: committee members will have the responsibility for turning off the timing device and returning the mats to the cupboard.
It is part of the second duty team’s responsibility to wait until after everything is packed up before leaving.
