GENERAL BUSINESS

The minor course variation that has been in place for most of this series is likely to remain for the final run next fortnight. Please check the whiteboard at the beginning of each run.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
Surprisingly, the weather was once again warm and sunny. It was a good day to be running. Eight teams broke the 100-point score in run 5 with the total points scored being 2,931. With one run to go there is only 2 points between 2nd and 3rd.

RABOBANK KNOCKOUT TROPHY
All four teams scored over 100 points in two high scoring matches in this round of the knockout. Macquarie Nomads, 181, beat Reserve Bank Magic Milers, 100, and, Transport Trainers, 108, went down to The Running Walkers, 135.

Legal Eagles top scored with 8 points, followed by Reserve Bank Magic Milers and Australian Museum Runosaurs tied on 4 points. 4 teams then tied with 2 points.

Matthew MOONEY of Macquarie Nomads was again the fastest man with the time of 21.25. Cathy LIU of Reserve Bank Magic Milers was the fastest woman with 25.55. There were 38 fast runners, 30 males (12%) and 8 females (10%).

THE MAT GARROD MEMORIAL TEAM REPRESENTATION TROPHY
Congratulations to Macquarie Nomads who had the best turnout in run 5 with 14. They were followed by Domain Dashers with 13, Reserve Bank Midday Milers with 12, then a 4-way tie on 11. The total turnout was 322 counting runners, 245 males and 77 females.
